Amanda came to UNP with an extensive background in disability and access, specifically focusing on arts education. She has served on national councils addressing educational inclusion and has been actively engaged in national and local arts education advocacy. She received her BA in English, with a minor in Theatre, from Westminster College. Amanda also spent two years in AmeriCorps National Service, promoting literacy through America Reads and providing social services to underserved families in northwest Salt Lake. She became increasingly more involved in fundraising and development activities over her years in the nonprofit sector. Since 2017 Amanda has been conducting development for UNP, supporting essential partnership work between Salt Lake City’s west side communities and the University of Utah.
