Growing up in the mountains and desert of Utah, Julianne enjoys a deep connection with the land and community and is inspired by the resilience and adaptive capacity of the place and people. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker—passionate for community-based practice—focused on social justice, clinical support, and social work field education in the Bridge Training Clinic at Hartland Partnership Center. Julianne was at UNP as a student and returned as the Clinical Director in 2014 in order to support the health and wellness efforts and student training opportunities in our west-side community. In addition to supervising a team of graduate students, she provides trauma focused clinical support to individuals and families in the community, convenes health and wellness partners at Hartland, and teaches courses for the College of Social Work. An avid gardener, Julianne loves to grow and cook her own food, spend time with her family and continues to wander in the mountains and desert.
